Requirement
1.Aminimum of 8 years experience in sales and / or marketing in a multi national company. (International hotel experience is plus).
2.Proven track record of success working with high end on trade accounts.
3.Commitment to teamwork based on accountability, respect for others and a high performance work culture.
4.Creative, flexible, solution oriented and a willingness to work in a constantly changing environment with enthusiasm.
5.Basic wine knowledge will be an advantage.
6.Proactive thinking, attedntion to details & good follow up.
7.Positive attitude & able to work under pressure.
8.Requires traveling at times.
Main Responsibilities
Sales
1.To be very familiarize with all company products and its categorized pricing structure prior to approach customers.
2.Capable to utilize company’s competitive advantage (collective resources and market positioning) in doing business in regional markets.
3.To work due-diligently in developing new potential accounts in the designated territory and subsequently increase sales volume in Hotel, Club and Restaurant segment within company guidelines.
4.Follow up company policy and criteria in selection accounts to avoid bad debt issue.
5.Conduct regular sales visit for all the active accounts to maintain and develop further business partnership.
6.Check daily sales report on back order .
7.To have sufficient understanding/observation and be very clear in targeted customers’ needs and their unique business environment when conducting business.
8.Using sales skills and product knowledge to sell and directly responsible for on trade accounts in order to achieve sales target set up by Director of Sales monthly .
Promotion
1.To design, plan and implement effective promotion and activity to facilitate sales of ASC products in targeted account under the guidance of Director of Operations .
2.To compile projected profit and loss statement (deal sheet) for all promotion events and keep track on the actual result for future reference.
3.To coordinate with colleagues of same capacity in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou in implementation of nation wide promotion campaign .
Customer service support
1.To follow through on their daily operation requirement in terms of inventory management (placing order, delivery and replacement) training needs.
2.Provide promotion, sponsorship and festival support .
Market Intelligence
1.Be on full alert on market trend of imported wine market trend by closely followed up on local newspaper, magazine, internet and other media.
2.Conduct weekly competitor market survey on their new products promotion and pricing tactic and to report to Director of Operations for proactive strategic planning.
3.Collect competitors’ catalog and promotion collaterals for internal reference
Collection payment.
1.To be very prudent when negotiate on payment terms for contract and should strictly adhered to company policy unless approved by senior management .
2.To be responsible for month end payment collection for the assigned accounts and alert management when in doubt .
Administration
1.Compile sales call and statistic report to update Director of Operations on work progress .
2.Follow up on finalization of business contract for respective accounts as well as renewal for current accounts .
3.To update account profile on daily basis with regards to contact, ordering pattern, price structure with updated wine selection and business agreement.
Others
1.Conduct out of town sales call as whenever necessary .
2.Take up any other projects assigned by Director of Sales On trade. -
